People who come to The Christmas Revels are fascinated (or mystified!) by the Abbots Bromley Horn Dance. So we join the California Revels and have a Bromliad. Come learn the dance and participate in it. Or bring a penny whistle, recorder or fiddle and play the tune. We’ll teach the steps and general concept. Some burlap costumes and antlers will be available, but participants are encouraged to bring their own (branches can make pretty good antlers – look around your yard). Or just bring a picnic and watch. We’ll provide musicians and a caller. We’ll also play some fun games.
SEPTEMBER 21 (Thursday), 6:30 – 7:45pm: Tacoma Sings. Chihuly Bridge of Glass
Singing on the Chihuly Bridge of Glass to sing-out summer and sing-in autumn. Music to listen to as you arrive (on the Glass Museum side), then we’ll distribute song sheets and encourage everyone to join in.
