Every year, Puget Sound Revels presents an assortment of events: dances, sings, concerts, salons, celebrations and more. MARCH 21: Spring Sing 7 PM – 9:30 PM  Free. The Antique Sandwich Company (5102 N Pearl St
Tacoma, WA 98407). We provide the song sheets while you provide your voice! Let’s fill the air with songs while enjoying each other’s company and food! Food and beverages will be available to purchase.

MAY 1: May Day Celebration from 6pm – 7:30 (Wright Park)

Singing, eating, stories, celebrating Puget Sound Revels – supporting future joy-flinging!

JUNE 23 – Summer Solstice Party –  All ages. FREE. The event is limited to 60 people so please sign up via Brown Paper Tickets here.

Bring a Picnic. We’ll have a fire so you can cook a hot dog or a brat on a stick or something in foil. Be creative. We’ll provide s’mores ingredients. We’ll also have some beverages available, but feel free to bring your own as well.
The celebration will include a few presented songs and poems,
as well as communal singing and dancing.
Edgewood Garden from 7 to 9:30. Sign-up and join the fun.


SEPTEMBER 2Abbots Bromliad (People’s Park, Tacoma – 1:30 to 2:45pm)  Dancing with antlers—FREE! All ages! People who come to The Christmas Revels are fascinated (or mystified!) by the Abbots Bromley Horn Dance.  So we have a Bromliad – just for fun. Come learn the dance and participate in it. Bring your own antlers (branches can make pretty good antlers – look around your yard). Or just bring a picnic and watch. We’ll also play some fun games and sing a few rounds.


SEPTEMBER 19, 6:30 – 7:45pmTacoma Sings: Chihuly Bridge of Glass

Singing on the Chihuly Bridge of Glass to sing-out Bridge Singsummer and sing-in autumn. Music to listen to as you arrive (on the Glass Museum side), then we’ll distribute song sheets and encourage everyone to join in. We’ll sing fun songs various places on the bridge and wrap up with a few lovely rounds in the amphitheater beside the History Museum. Bring a lantern if you want. We’ll light them as the sun sets. Beautiful.      

October is Tacoma Arts Month. There are many fun things to do.

 Join us on October 5 (7 – 9pm) for A High Energy Balkan Dance Party with Balkanarama!  
We’re partnering with the Slavonian American Benevolent Society to offer a dance party with Balkanarama. Seattle-based Balkanarama plays dance songs from Bosnia, Serbia, Bulgaria, Macedonia, Albania, and Greece, including songs of the Rom people living in those countries. The quintet is comprised of alto sax, clarinet, and four soulful voices powered by a dance beat on synth, bass and drums. Jana Rickel – great Balkan dance teacher – will teach dances, so everyone can join in. Pull your dancing shoes  and join us.

The Christmas Revels – December 14 – 18   Rialto Theater, Tacoma

A mid-winter Celebration of the Winter Solstice. This year we’re off to the Balkans – expect vibrant colors, thrilling singing, dance, storytelling. A great celebration for all ages.
